If you've strolled along the seawall at sunrise where the float planes huddle up, this scape will look familiar to you.  If you haven't, then here: meet my favourite spot in Nanaimo, BC (other than on top of Mount Benson, but there is no painting for that yet)..

"Write what you know".  So the unknown is left unpainted. It takes longer than I thought to learn a new map.

All the hype about Pachena Beach remains hype. Being there didn't allow me to see much of it, as it was entirely cloaked in fog.  Maybe next time, Pachena.  Good thing the joy is in the journey.
